Application Processing - Clear Options Visa
  • We will send you a confirmation email when we get your application. We then contact you within 24 hours and:
    • confirm details in your application and ask you for any extra information needed
    • Advise you of the documents you could need for processing and validation
    • Explain the next step in the process
  • Approval is subject to our normal credit standards. You can change your mind after applying
  • Any information you give us in your online application is protected by Suncorp's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Check that you have the right browser and security levels by reading our System Requirements.
Application Processing - American Express
  • Apply for your American Express card with the online application form
  • Once you have submitted your application:
    • Your application will be assessed by American Express
    • If approved, your card, terms and conditions and other details will be mailed directly to you usually within 10 working days

Item Required details
Personal ID
  • A recent photo (eg. Drivers Licence), or
  • 100 point identification for new customers
Proof of income
  • 3 most recent pay slips or financial statements for the past 2 years if you are self-employed
Proof of residence
  • rates notice if you are a home owner
  • rent receipt or tenancy agreement if renting
  • written statement of board amount if boarding
Proof of current liabilities
  • credit card statements (if it is not a Suncorp Visa card)
  • charge card statements
  • personal loan statements (if it is not a Suncorp loan)
  • If you are closing other credit or store cards and transferring the balance, you must sign a closure authority form which we will send you with your approval letter. Please bring the form with you when you collect your card.
