Michael Gillan

I came from a panel beater role working for one of Suncorp’s repairers. I always wanted to be an assessor. My first job with Suncorp was as an In house Assessor and through my development plan I have recently been promoted to an On Road Assessor.

It is rewarding working for a big, successful company, with lots of opportunities. Advancement is available and you are encouraged and supported by your Leader to go to the next step. Over time you get opportunities to act in roles and be trained for higher positions.

I like the opportunity to make a difference in the business and for our customers. We help people through difficult times. We do this be being one step ahead of problems.

I have been with Suncorp 2.5 years and now my work mates are like my extended family.

This job is good for proactive people with good time management skills. You are out on the road yourself and have to be able to make decisions.
